Each one of us is created in a unique and unrepeatable way; we all have gifts and talents given to us in order to fulfill our mission.
We believe that everyone has something to offer and a role to play in building our community. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities and ministry teams where you can use your gifts and talents to make a difference. Check below to learn more about our different ministries and organizations. Please keep in mind that we are starting or revitalizing most of it.

The choir sings most major liturgies from the first Sunday of September through the last Sunday of June. Auditions are not required, but interest should be expressed to Abouna. The ability to read Arabic/Syriac is not required.
All young boys ages eight up to seventeen are encouraged to assist the Priest at the Altar during Divine Liturgy. Training is offered periodically throughout the year.

Divine Blessings is a ministry at Our Lady of Mercy Church that combines both prayer and hand crafting, with the intention to reach out to our parishioners and our community as a way to express God’s compassion in a tangible way. We got established in January of 2014.
Our current focus is on knitting/crocheting prayer shawls for those in need of comfort and spiritual support (undergoing medical procedures, illness, and bereavement…). Many blessings for the recipient will be prayed into the knitting/crocheting process of every single shawl. Our priest blesses the completed shawls during a prayer service before they are ready to be delivered to the recipients.
We start our meeting by praying the Chaplet of St. Charbel, we knit, we help with any knitting questions, and we discuss progress and any future planning for our ministry.
We will be focusing on other worthy causes in the future as well.
